It stuns me that anyone is still participating in the Terra ecosystem. Once faith is broken, especially to the degree it was here, it’s near-impossible to revive.

Yes and no. This kind of approach showed its limits in a downward trend. I believe that defi should bridge with the real financial world opening up opportunities for investors normally snubbed by the big banks.
