[Proposal] Oracle Refund

getting the same error measage as well

There is so much discrepancy.
Why?
I was liquidated 219,000 UST at that time
So, I think the refund should be as below.
Is there any error in my calculation?
219,000ust ÷ 2.28ust/anc × 1.05 = 100,855.26

Please, check my refund again

The calculated ANC price is at ~$2.28, the price at which the poll was put up

sorry about that. I am having some devs look into that right now.

Can you let me know what operation you are trying to do when you get that error message? Screenshot of the page before when you get this?

The refund is calculated on the actual market price of luna minus the wrongly liquidated oracle price, based on ANC at the time of the poll plus a 5% boost.

Here they are

The issue was found: The Anchor gov contract for the community fund had a spending limit of 1,000,000 so it failed because the ANC amount was over that so it failed to execute and fund the vesting contract.

Work is being done to fix this now. Thanks for your patience.

I just tried it out again, and I think it’s working now: tx_id 1802870ECE00578307C7E6DDCF83A1782E209E70819DD2FCCBA566ED61895704

working now! thanks for your efforts

How was this calculation arrived at?

I cant speak for all, but i wouldn’t have been liquidated (approx $54 during Dec 8-9th), so why only refund the difference between false oracle and market price at the time?

I, and assuming others, should have been remunerated to the full amount liquidated calculated as market price during the event. Notwithstanding, the time and imposition experienced.

The value of my LUNA liquidated in Dec was 8200 UST - this was the amount the protocol used to decrease my LTV
I received ANC valued 1200 UST :upside_down_face:

Because you are paid back in UST when you are liquidated. So if the protocol paid out more than the false oracle price minus the market price you would get more than what you actually lost dollar for dollar.

The vesting contract is now funded from the gov poll and you can start claiming again. Thanks for your patience on this.

as the above examples state, our positions liquidated vs refund amount result in around 30% of the amount liquidated. Even less due to time of poll voting and decline in anc.

My liquidated amount was $8.98K, my refund calculated at 2.28 = $2.82K and that’s including the 5% boost. Don’t understand how that is close to dollar for dollar, when considering above false oracle price.

Why are the affected not receiving full refunds?

The approx refund is this: market price of luna at the time 66.10 - false oracle price at the 58.44 ($66.10- $55.44). This was laid out in the poll and the forum post above:

This brings the wallets back to neutral from about the mark to mark 11.6% difference from the stale oracle price that triggered the liquidation and the market price at the time.

I do get the price of ANC had dropped and that is unfortunate but hopefully, it recovers as the market recovers.

But that’s not how this works…

Let’s say I have a $100,000 account.

I have it at 50% LTV. That means 50k is borrowed.

Price oracle issue happens, price dips $10

I don’t lose just 10%, the value of the movement. I lose 20%, the number that brings me to 40% LTV.

This is a super simplistic version of what happened, but this is why some are speaking out. This gesture so far is nice, but doesnt come close to making me whole, nor does it anyone else.

I understand what you’re saying, but im saying my Liquidation price was never hit. Not on any exchange at any time, across all data sets that i’ve seen.

So, if this was the case, how come the refund does not reflect the full amount liquidated at any time, regardless of anc price decline.

That is why i am asking if it was a partial refund. If it is not, where am i getting confused?

Apologies for all the questions, but simply want to understand where the discrepancy is

Correct. I also oversimplified but the math took this into account

Hi, I claimed today some of the Anchor, but after that cant see the window (which pop-up automatically) to claim more; is there a way to go directly to the page to claim? Thanks a lot btw!!!

where can i find the full details of how much i got liquidated?
i got liquidated for $18,540 and received 2550anc as a refund is that right?
